Pragati with Partners – 2022

What is Pragati?

Every alternate year, since 2009, Vibha has organized a national level conference for all its partners with the aim of providing a learning platform – a place where they can share, connect and leverage from each others’ rich experiences.

We provide a wider thematic focus to generate a healthy debate and discussion, share information about developments and create a space for partners as well as experts to share their views and perspectives. Each Pragati conference typically builds up to a series of capacity building workshops for partners in the following year, focusing on a theme or subject that is relevant to their work. We have had three series’ so far: IT for development, Finance management & FCRA and on Impact Assessment, Indicators and Monitoring.

Pragati History

2013: Session on Impact Assessment, with the objective of getting partners to understand why assessment is important, what does it mean and how do we go about it.

2014: Four regional level workshops for all our partners to begin a process of systematizing monitoring, evaluation and assessment of programs.

2015: Sessions on bringing in the different perspectives: the Corporates, the NGOs and academics to come together to share their challenges and their learnings.

2017: Design Thinking, Child Abuse and an inspiring talk by Sonam Wangchuk on his experience with SECMOL and alternate thinking towards education!

2019: Focused on Data management, partnerships and on Theory of Change along with a Result Based System facilitated by Munish Kaushik, a management expert and consultant to the Delhi government.

2022: Bring back Munish Kaushik to facilitate discussions on how do we deepen our engagement with the government. Also look at data analysis and presentation and harnessing the wealth of information, knowledge and expertise in partners, Vibha and elsewhere.
